Hello Doctor, I Have Problem With Genital Herpes. It Repeats

Hello doctor, I have problem with genital herpes. It repeats generally 3 - 4 times in a year or sometimes more. So on that time I am taking Acyclovir 800 dt (cipla) 2 times daily for 5 days and I also use Acivir cream multiple times. Is this a correct medicine to use? Don't we have any permanent cure/solution for this problem?
