Hello Doctor, I Was Wondering About My Period Because It

Hello doctor, I was wondering about my period because it is really irregular. I had a light period in December then a full very heavy one next in July. The gap is so large I'm wondering what's wrong. I am 14 years old and am wondering as well if my next period should be as heavy or lighter?
