Hello, For The Past Month Or So I Have Had

Hello, for the past month or so I have had a really weird itch on my left foot. It flares up every couple of hours and it is impossible to ignore. There is no visible rash or bump where it itches and it is always in the exact same spot. Right in the middle up by the ball of my foot. I have no idea what it could be? I am athletic but don't have itching anywhere else on my body and there is no calluses where the itching is occurring.
