Hello from Oceanside, CA. I have a refill on Ventolin HFA but my insurance no longer covers it. The generic name is albuterol sulfate Inhalation Aerosol 90 mcg per actuation.
I tried to find another generic of this type or brand name but I can't find it online. I did call Cigna and got an exception to their Coverage Determination and I think it was approved for a cost of $22.
I can't tell online what 90 mcg is comparable to. I see bottles, vials, tablets.
Can you advise me?
