Hello From This 70 Year Old Male Retired Forest Ranger

Hello from this 70 year old male retired forest ranger apparently in good health. In Feb. 2015 I had sudden pain deep in right ear, the outer ear going numb as well as much of the right side of my head. The pain subsided before seeing an ENT who couldn't see an ear problem. I have moderate tinnitus in both ears, several frequencies, but now the right ear has a very low frequency hum masking the higher frequency tinnitus, and general feeling of numbness across right side of head and outer ear. Now the right antihelix swells and hearing loss becomes worse, my head feeling stuffy, then I get a break from it a day or two. My one year old ReSound hearing aids no longer help the right ear when that happens. Another trip to that ENT clinic yielded no diagnosis. My general practitioner ordered a CT of the head with contrast, with no diagnosis. They were concerned about my frequent dizziness and occasional fainting without falls. My cardiologist conducted a two day nuclear (injection/rest) scan of the heart, with no diagnosis other than some interesting improvement of former conditions. Blood pressure averages 140/75, A1C 6.9, sugar 160 mg/dL on Metformin with strict self-imposed low glycemic index diet. Coreg, Flecainide and Irbesartan for cardio, with pacemaker, with vertebral artery syndrome.
