Hello, generally healthy 35 yr old female. 2 pregnancies in 2 years. One delivery son hit pelvis on way out and broke collarbone. Since I've had extreme pelvis(bone) pain with spasms. Associated it to delivery, but about 1 year ago began having a left rib that almost rolls when I sit. When I sit my back now looks c shaped, however at times, randomly without reason it creates a stabbing pain (on a scale of 1-10 its a 20), I'm unable to breathe, move, etc. and I need pressure applied to the left side of my spine to get in a comfortable position. Its tender for a few days afterwards but nothing severe. Now as of about 1 month ago and all day everyday I feel a tearing sensation directly on my spine at the same area where the rib would meet my spine (thoracic). Its tender to the touch, almost as a bruise would feel, but only feels like tearing if I'm bending. Head movement does not affect it. Its multiple vertebrates that are tender and painful, approximately 8-10. My Dr. Ordered upper abdominal xray thinking I had a kidney stone (at the time my labs showed blood in my urine) and the radiologist finding were: Punctate 2mm calcific density overlies the left L4 transverse process with round calcific densities bilaterally in the pelvis, radiographically non specific. I'm assuming my L4 is maybe where my epidural was and pelvis is from delivery. The lower back is painful but I do not need a medication to live with it. The upper portion however is extremely painful and don't want to go back to my doctor asking for a back xray. I don't want to fall into the fibromyalgia /hypochondriac category. Thoughts??
