Hello, Good Day! This Is For My Father And I

Hello, good day! This is for my father and I just want to get a better understanding of his situation. His x-ray says that he has a koch's infection in his right apex. He is experiencing a back pain in his right side. And when he sleep, he cannot lie down straight, since he feels like he is having a hard time breathing and feels like he is choking and when he spits, his saliva contains blood. Does it mean or it is a sign that he has tuberculosis? It has been 6 months since he experienced this kind of symptoms. Thank you for responding.
