Hello Have Had Severe Depression And Anxiety For 20 Years

Hello have had severe depression and anxiety for 20 years been on effexor for about 10years 225mg because of minor medical issue seemed not to be working Doctor upped dosage to 300mg but i found this worse for my anxiety i find i have anxiety nearly all day is there any other medicine to take with effexor, also doctor prescibed valium but i do not like taking it because of rebound effect at wits end now 65 years old
