Hello I Have Just Finished A Full Dose Of Metrogel

Hello i have just finished a full dose of metrogel while on my nuvaring yesterday. Today was the day to switch to a new ring. So i take the old one out and it is covered in the dark chunky discharge. It almost looked like it was corroding. I am cramping. Is this okay
