Hello I Have The Nexplanon Implant On My Left Arm.

Hello i have the Nexplanon implant on my left arm. I know it expires 10/2015 but don't know the exact date . how long after the experiation date does it stop being affective?
For example if it expired on the 10th of October an I had unprotected sex on the same day should I be worried? Thanks in advanced.
