Hello Im A 54 Yr Old Male That Needs A

Hello im a 54 yr old male that needs a total hip replacement and last yr I had a heart attack, my surgeon says I have to wait 2 years for a cardiac clearance. How long should I actually wait, do you think it would be safe to get it done 18 months from the date of the attack. Thank you sir!
