Hello, Just Told My Almost 14 Yr Old Yorkie Has

Hello, just told my almost 14 yr old Yorkie has Cushing's and need her fall bladder out.
Vet wants to start up meds this week. My girl weighs 7 pounds , no signs of Cushing's other then little lumps ..like hang tags on her body. Dislike the vet. So want a 2nd opinion with the $850.00 ultra sound and Tenn, sent blood work. What worst case scenario if no surgery. She is on a compound liquid yo keep her sludge down.
