Hello! Last Saturday,while Hiking I Fell And Hurt My Ankle

last saturday,while hiking i fell and hurt my ankle pretty bad, when I woke the next morning it was the size of a softball. I went in to get an xray which showed no broken bones. It has been 9 days and my ankle is still the same size. I am just wondering if there is something else that could be wrong. possibly with a tendon?
