Hello, my daughter (23) first child 21 weeks this Thursday, she did an amniocentesis today because specialist informed her that the baby hands were clinched closed and had maybe a club foot also water on the brain. Today before the procedure the babies hands were found to be open no club foot was detected but they said they still see fluid on the brain. Test results wont be back for a few days however, the baby is moving so much that the technicians and specialist said it was hard to even get pictures of him because he is so active. Also, was told hes moving so much because he has a brain stem, huh!! Of course he does, They advised to abort so they could use the fetus to further science research, is this normal to say without even ALL the test reports back, and does he have a chance to live if no other issues have been found, since the babies hands have opened and his foot is now straight, they also said would be a breach baby, but the baby is in position now. Can someone please help
