Hello My Daughter Is 7 Years Old And Has A

Hello my daughter is 7 years old and has a lose baby tooth that has purple gums right above it. I'm thinking it could be her adult tooth is trying to come through at the same time which is causing the purple color right about the lose baby tooth but I wasn't exactly the reason why. Could this be a possible reason or is my reasoning way off?
