Hello, My Husband Doesn't Want To Go To A Doctor

Hello, my husband doesn't want to go to a doctor about this because it doesn't hurt. However, it is not normal to have this red discoloration only on the right side of his face. He says it does not hurt or itch. It is under his right eye and goes down his cheek aprox 2 inches long and about half an inch wide. What could this be?
