Hello, My Husband Has Been Having Intermittent Swelling To Different

Hello, my husband has been having intermittent swelling to different parts of his body, ( lips, tongue, forehead, inner arms, thumbs and index fingers, tops and balls of feet). This swelling occurs at intervals, one place after another. The tongue swelling was not an emergency, but we went to ED to be safe. He has been to his MD and to ED. The second trip to ED was for epigastric, chest, throat and back pain. Cardiac enzymes turned out negative, EKG fine. CT scan done due to abdominal pain. Fatty liver was diagnosed. Does the swelling have any correlation to the fatty liver.
