Hello my name is Barbara. I gave my granddaughter who is eight 200 mg of ibuprophen and 10ml of children’s benedryl for a itchy throat and runny nose but she also has a terrible cough. It has been 2 1/2 hours since then and she is coughing her head off. Can I give her a generic DG health cough and runny nose oral suspension. This last one has acetaminophen 160 mg, chlorpheniramine malaete 1mg, and dextromethorphen HBr 5mg. Per 5ml dose.
