Hello, My Name Is Cheryl. I Hope You're Having A

Hello, my name is Cheryl. I hope you're having a great Monday! In 2013 I had a full hysterectomy (ovaries and uterus) due to uterine and ovarian fibroids and pre-cancerous cells on my cervix. I am currently taking compound hormones. Prior to my surgery I was severely anemic. After the surgery and beyond, my levels have been fine (I know this because my gynecologist orders a blood test for me every 12 months). Last week, I had my regular annual physical from my internist. He ordered a routine blood test. The results came back that I am a bit anemic. He instructed me not to do anything different and has ordered me to come back in 2 weeks to retest to see if the iron deficiency was an isolated incident....which I will do. I am 44 years old, take Losartan for hypertension, 5'3" and 207 lbs. I actually eat quite healthy but I don't exercise at all (I'm working on changing that ASAP!) Other than the hypertension I have no other health issues. I have noticed that I've a bit been more tired lately, soft fingernails (very unusual), and sometimes foggy-brained. (Sorry for all the prelim info...but here's the question...) - Since the fibroids are gone, what other issues could be causing my anemia? Thank you!
