Hello my name is Josafina Pontes. I go to River City High School. I am in a class called AVID. AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination and it is a college preparation class. It helps students learn more about college and career. We are doing an individual reading project that focuses on the career we want to pursue in the future and I have decided that I want to be a nurse. Since I was 7 years old I wanted to be a nurse because I want to help those who need it and I love working with children and adults.
