Hello My Name Is Sherrie My? I Am Very Anemic

Hello my name is Sherrie my? I am very anemic and I'm receiving Iv Iron through my portal-cath. Was told that drinking too much sweet tea would cause my Iron to drop down and that's why my iron is really low. My gastroenterologist says my body isn't and probably won't produce ironlike it should ,so he said I would need to start taking Iv therapy as an out patient. I live sweet tea and I just wanted to know if it will affect my Iron in anyway. Sherrie Adams Thank you very much
