Hello My Name Is Tiffany, Ever Since Last Last Night

Hello my name is Tiffany, ever since last last night I have had this sharp stabbing pain in my chest right in my rib cage on both sides they do switch of they don't hurt at the same time, I have took some pain medication and tried to sleep it off but that hasn't worked. Also this pain is affecting my stomach and is making me feel very neasous, and I'm not on my period or getting ready to start it. What does this sound like? Is this serious?
