Hello, My Name Is Allyson, I'm 19 Years Old. This

Hello, my name is allyson, I'm 19 years old. This morning I woke up just as any normal day. I sat up and turned my head to left to look out the window and all of a sudden I hear a loud pop in my neck and immediately had serious pain and could not get up from bed or move my neck, I had to be helped up by my mother. And now I've been bed ridden all day still unable to move my neck much. Is this just a bad strain or something more serious?
