Hello, My Name Is Amy And I Don't Really Understand

Hello, my name is amy and I don't really understand what is happening to me. I had unprotected sex April 10th and started to have early pregnancy symptoms. And i never got my period which means im 1 week late. But today i start to bleed I don't know if its a period or something else because of the symptoms and the week late period. The color is red with brown blood/discharge. Please help.
