Hello, my question today is there is a child in my class that was exposed to HCV at birth. The child got treatment for the exposure, but I have horrible anxiety and today I stepped on a thumbtack in the Classroom and I'm worried that the disease was in the floor. I read online that it can last up to 6 weeks on surfaces. I don't recall the child bleeding any but it doesn't help my concern
