Hello My Sister Just Got Diagnosis With Thymus Carcinoma And

Hello my sister just got diagnosis with thymus carcinoma and thyroid carcinoma. she is only 39yrs with three children. This is back in Africa. The doctor advised her that she has to begin radiation and Chemo because the mass is big, unfortunately she is not taking the news happily. so my question is is there any other treatment like surgeries? What is the survival rate? Please advise sooner.
