Hello My Son Have Been Having The Fever On And

Hello my son have been having the fever on and off since last night but only about 1&1/2 hrs ago I tested his temp and it was 101.8 I gave him tylonyl And when I rest my hands on his chest I can fell his heart rate very fast. It this normal what should I do!
