Hello, My Son Who Is 9 Years Old And Daughter

Hello, my son who is 9 years old and daughter who is six both have raised tongue color patches at the back of his tongue. They don't have a temperature or say that they hurt. They haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary. I have never notice this before, what do you think it might be?
