Hello Rodger Here. Got My 6yo Grandson With Me For

Hello rodger here. Got my 6yo grandson with me for a few days’ his mom gave me triamcinolone ointment to put on the bottom of his foot on a cracked skin area that has tripled in size since he visited two weeks ago. No bandaid or cleaning just put it on...I cleaned it w/alcohol neosporin and dressed it with large bandaid. I have some medical training, rep for Pfizer for 33 years’ cardio and biological. Any ideas while I have him?
