Hello There, I Sustained A Groin Pull Or Injury About

Hello there, I sustained a groin pull or injury about 3 weeks ago training in boxing. I went to the ER about 2 weeks ago for foolishly thinking that smoking cannabis would heal it faster(since sometimes it soothes my other injuries) but that wasn't the case. It felt like something was ruptured but now it's not as sore or painful.So far now I'm able to stretch, do jumping jacks and Jog decently but the vein or muscle around my thigh and groin still feels larger and sore compared to the other side. I was thinking about returning to training this Friday but I'm not sure. So far I've just been icing it every other 2 days and I make sure I sleep with my leg up or I sleep on my stomach, when would be the best time to return to training?
