Hello , This Is My 3rd Year I've Been On

Hello , this is my 3rd year I've been on the implanon . Date of removal is decemeber 26th . ive been experiencing discomfort , pain ; sometimes minor and sometimes severe from the site of the implant scaling down my arm .this has been going on for about 6-7 months (which were always minor) but in the past month its been getting worst . could this mean there is something wrong with the birth control ?
