Hello, two days ago I visited my GP as I'm struggling with tonsillitis and swelling on one side of my throat. The doctor prescribed me a Phenoxymethylpenicillin 500mg 4 times a day for ten days. I have taken this anitbiotic for two days already but there is still big pain when swallowing. Every couple of hours I need to spit out a green mucus. How long should it take to see any relief ?
