Hello, yesterday morning i woke up with pain in my throat, not quite like a sore throat. Like it was swollen around the adams apple area. Once i got up and drank something most of the pain went away. Last night i ate dinner and later on the night pain was returning, so i took a zink pill, 2 ibuprofen and an 81mg aspirin. Now im not sure if maybe some pills got stuck in my throat because it felt swollen in my throat. Then I felt my lips and teeth and hand and arm and leg and foot started tingling when i got up and walked. As i said it felt like my throat was swollen and something stuck in my throat and no matter how many times i swallowed it didnt go away. So i thought maybe warm tea or hot chocolate might help. So i made some drank it and the numbness mostly went away.and it felt less swollen. Now today. I barely have any sensation of yesterday's throat pain, nor do i have any numbness at all. Is there a nerve in the throat area if compressed or if something is stuck in the throat that would cause numbness on my right side. Im 54 in very good shape. Blood pressure usually around 135 over 88. I weigh 165 5'5" I'm on atenolol and zoloft. Im very active as well. Do you have any idea what happened. Thanks.
