Hello..My Question Is That I Have Been Told I Need

Hello..My question is that I have been told I need a defibrillator. I was told this week my efraction rate is now 35 ..It has been 42 for a few years now. And I now have Afib. So I started taking a blôod thinner this week. I realize the echos fluctuate. I am borderline as to wether or not I really need a defibrillator? There is a risk having one put into my chest. I am scared and am not sure what to do.
