Help Me. :( I Visited An EENT Specialist 4 Days

Help me. :( I visited an EENT specialist 4 days ago. Without any permission, he stuffed my ears with cotton and was asked to be back for 10 days. The thing is, he never gave me other options for my treatment and no further explanations. I am here to ask if there are other alternatives to this. I hate the feeling of having both my ears stuffed with cotton. He prescribed me with antibiotic ear drops and analgesic for pain. I was hoping if you have other suggestion for my treatment doctor. This cotton in my ear is not helping me at all, infact this has greatly affected my ADLS.
