Hey! I Recently Had A Chalazion Excision A Little Less

Hey! I recently had a chalazion excision a little less than two weeks ago. Post surgery, there was still a small lump which continued to shrink till a couple of days ago when it grew in size a little. Furthermore, pus came out of the lump as well. Is it normal to still have pus coming out after surgery? Or does it mean that the doctor did not fully extract all the pus from the cyst?
