Hey I'm A High School Student That Is Wondering About

Hey I'm a high school student that is wondering about adderall and whating to know if I'm right to get prescribed. I know you already said in your head"this guy is just going to abuse or not take it seriously" but I believe that adderall or one of it other names, that it could help me. Since elementary school I was the one student that always had low grades and couldn't pay attention. Even on 80% of my report card teachers saying that I can't focus, sit still, and basically always getting side tracked. Even tho every other teen may say that just to try and make the Doctor feel that they need or should try adderall, but I've been dealing with this since I could remember. I have try to find other ways to help me in school, but no results. Now a-days I have trouble understanding what the teachers are saying, it's not that I can't hear or I'm just not trying, but I can't make sense of the general sentence. I hear the teachers loud and clear. It's me trying to make sense of it all. I get unfocused as I try to understand and then fall behind. I need adderall to help me focus on the lessons and help make some sense of what I'm Learning. Do you think a type of adderall could help me or is there other solution to my problem? Ps I've learn from my friend that adderall is helping him with is focusing. And he's told me that he's been doing great, and that since I've had the same problems as him, I wonder if it's a good idea ?
