Hey So I'm On Depo And I Just Started My

So I'm on depo and I just started my first period on it,I use tampons and I've been using them for years, it hurt to put them in, and the cramps where the worst I never felt pain like it. One night they lasted for 3 hours so I went to the bathroom took a bath, dried off, sat on the toilet and pushed, when I stood up from pushing because nothing came out a blood clot come out, I sat down again and another one was coming out but it wasn't going on on it's own so I pulled it out. It had a part that was the blood clot then the rest was a white tissue, it felt spongy and it was the size of my hand. I never experienced this before, I never had a child or had any procedures done to my body. I don't know if this should happen. What would it be if you where to guess from the information I gave?
