Hey Doc, A Year Or Two Ago I Was Told

Hey doc, a year or two ago I was told that I have hepatitis C. I believe I got this from an altercation that turned violent, I was stabbed with a homemade knife.
I haven't been able to receive insurance yet. Left untreated this long, could it already be too late? Am I going to be another fatality to this disease ? What's the life expectancy? Can it pass sexually with only one parter? Please help me ease my mind with information regarding this disease
