I want to ask if someone has negative vdrl and positive tpha what is this mean?
I read that this means that he might have late latent syphilis and requires treatment
If so and vdrl negative... How can he monitor his response to treatment?
I read also that only vdrl and rpr the only test to monitor response to therapy and treponemal tests like tpha and fta abs poorly related to response to treatment
