Hey There .I Just Got Off My Braces Last Week

Hey there .I just got off my braces last week .Now I got my retainers to wear .My orthodontist told me to wear the retainers for 22 per day for 6 months time.But wearing the retainers I face a lot of problems in college .I can't respond properly to people around me or answr any question put on me by my teacher or speak loud enough in front of the class.So I need to ask u one thing whether I can wear the retainers after college that is I can wear the retainers for 15 hours a day .Or is they any other way of solving my problem .Plz help
