Hey There So I Have Had A Chest Infection For

Hey there so i have had a chest infection for about 2 months took 2 different antibiotics and it was still there i went back and the doctor said it was inflammation and i needed to use an asmol inhaler i have been using it now for some time and i still have flem and what feels like a clump of something in my throat i also just noticed white discolouration of my gums and roof of mouth are these links or different problems and what are they from? I dont smoke and i very rarely drink alchohol and not much at all when i do im a 22 year old healthy male in my opinion any reason this is happening?
