Hey This Month St The Beginning Of My Period I

Hey this month st the beginning of my period I found this little lump of cells about the size of a pea. Different from normal clotting or uterus lining that tends to be more gooey it was like a solid little lump. I had thought last month that I might Ben pregnant based off some symptoms but I ended up getting my period so now im wondering. Instead of getting my period last month did I actually have a miscarriage or is something else going on?
