Hi - My 5 Year Old Lab Has Been On

Hi - My 5 year old lab has been on 20 mg of prednisone for 8 days. She was on one tab every 12 hours until last night, this morning we started tapering to one tab every 24 hours. Last dose was this morning. About an hour ago we went for a short walk in 80 degree weather, but she has been panting every since we got back. Should I be concerned?
