Hi - My 5 Year Old Has Had Blood In

Hi - my 5 year old has had blood in her stool off and on but. I other symptoms so I assumed it was a fissure and have been pushing fiber foods and lots of water. However, today her stool appears to be a little mucousy and there were some small pieces that were all red colored. Her stool also appears to be fairly light in color. Should I be concerned it's something more serious? We just moved to a new city and haven't found a pediatrician yet.
