Hi - My Husband Fractured His Arm Near His Elbow

Hi - my husband fractured his arm near his elbow today. Type II radial fracture.It is in a sling only, not a plaster cast. He has an appointment in a week to go to a fracture clinic. The hospital said there was no vascular issue. He is scheduled for an 11 hour flight tomorrow. I'm trying to ascertain whether there is any risk in him taking the flight. Any advice greatly appreciated.
