Hi- My Boyfriend Saw The NP Yesterday For An Infection
Hi-
My boyfriend saw the NP yesterday for an infection of the bursa of the elbow. He was swabbed to test for MRSA. Was given an injection of an antibiotic and started on oral Bactrim. Had another injection today. Results of culture should be available tomorrow afternoon. No drainage noted. NP wasn't concerned about transmission of infection as there is no pus. Should I be concerned?
