Hi, 69 Y.o Irish Female 8 Years Post Breast Cancer.

Hi, 69 y.o Irish female 8 years post Breast cancer. Presents with sharp left flank tenderness, no nausea, WBC normal. Constipation, urine specific gravity elevated. CT dx diverticulitis. As a retired physician, I question that dx. (It's my wife). Im concerned about her pancreas. ER doc is single minded. Current being treated with IV fluid, Cypro and flagyl. I suggested blood culture, liver function studies, ER doc said no need. Am I just being old school. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks
