Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, A few hours ago I received an electric shock on the tip of my finger from a household appliance with 120V and 1.3 Amps, it wasn't long contact as soon as I felt/saw the spark I removed my hand. But my finger began hurting and feeling tingly, and now my arm feels the same way. The finger I got shocked in is particularly tingly and sensitive. Naturally doing some research online only made things worse as there were a lot of cautions about electric shocks causing cardiac arrest and that sometimes the damage to heart is delayed by 24 hours, so I'm panicking slightly now. Do I have anything to worry about? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
