Hi. Back In February I Had A Cold And One

Hi. Back in February I had a cold and one night (as the cold was getting better) I started coughing then couldn't breathe. I couldn't get a breath in for what seemed to be forever. I nearly lost consciousness. And it gradually came back and I wheezed like crazy trying to get air in. It was painful. My dad was there and took me to the hospital and they didn't know what it was. Maybe an asthma attack maybe a bronchial spasm maybe this or that. So ever since then I just get wheezy and wet coughs I've noticed it more in the humidity or when it's stormy outside. What happened? anyone know? And does my cough and wheezing that comes at random have anything to do with it now?
